Vintage earrings are usually going to be clip on earrings. Many people are put off wearing them because they often find their ears ache and hurt after a couple of hours. A top tip to avoid this happening is to pull your earlobe out slightly when placing the earring on your ear and make sure the earring sits close to your face. This stops the earring sitting on the pressure point on your earlobe and causing pain. It does work! I am a convert to clip ons even though I have my ears pierced, there are some stunning vintage clip ons out there that are waiting to be re worn.
